Dear Green Family,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the sad loss of your daughter and sister, Birte.
I first met Birte in 2017, and we have kept in contact since then. Her final message to me made me sad as it was clear that she was exhausted after months of treatment, but also glad that she was looking forward to being back in Preetz with her family.
She was funny, courageous, adventurous, and taken from us far too soon.
